The Wheelhouse Bike Library
Grab your bike and go. We keep a fleet of well-maintained kids’ bikes to suit a range of ages and skills, including:
Balance bikes for the youngest rider
Pedal bikes for kids to borrow
Program bikes for kids enrolled in our youth bike programs
Our Bike Library is free thanks to the generous support of McLain Cycles and Fitness and donations from those willing to contribute.
The Wheelhouse is a welcoming community bike shop and hosts bike repair classes!

Open Monday, Tuesday, Friday 8:30-4:30 and Wednesday 10-6.

Bike Library and Chain Hubs
At Norte’s Bike Library, there’s always a bike to ride. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and community foundations, our bike library offers free access to kids’ bikes to ensure no child misses out on the fun.

The Chain Hub and Satellite Bike Libraries
In close collaboration with nearby communities, Norte is proud to bring our bike loan programs to several new areas. The Chain Hub is a dedicated bike library located at Rotary Park in Elk Rapids, which houses balance and pedal bikes for kids up to 10 years old.
