Patrick's Heavy Ride
ide for a great cause and support Norte's mission to help more children ride bikes and connect with their community in Northern Michigan. Choose from 20, 50, or 90-mile ride options on the beautiful roads of Leelanau County. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 29, 2023, and join Patrick's Heavy Riders to make a difference.
Accessible Recreation Day
Join Norte Youth Cycling and Disability Network Northern Michigan for a free family event focused on accessible recreation activities. The event will feature Norte's Bikes for All program and Adaptive Bike Fleet, along with adaptive bike demos. Come and learn about inclusive recreation agencies in the region, and have a fun day exploring hands-on activities together.
Cherry Pie Ride
Join us for a leisurely slow roll during the National Cherry Festival 2023 with the Cherry Pie Bike Ride. We'll take a scenic route through Traverse City, enjoying the beautiful scenery and each other's company. Every rider in the pie ride will receive a voucher for a free slice of pie from the Grand Traverse Pie Company. All ages and abilities are welcome, so come ride with us!
Festival Bike Valet
Park your bike with confidence at the Bike Valet during the National Cherry Festival 2023. Norte is providing rockstar bike parking near the food court from noon to 10 pm, ensuring your bike is secure while you enjoy the festival. If you're interested in volunteering as a valet attendant, please let us know. Come join us and enjoy the festival, knowing your bike is in good hands!
More Girls on Bikes Kickoff Party
Norte's More Girls on Bikes initiative aims to create a safe and supportive space for young women to ride bikes, develop healthy habits, gain independence, and boost their confidence. Join us on April 14th at 6:00 PM at MI Moves Fitness for an evening of fun and community building. Attendees will have the opportunity to be the first to register for future events, such as clinics, rides, and meetups.
Norte Race Team Informational Meeting
Norte Race Team provides a supportive and inclusive community for northern Michigan youth mountain bike riders. This program is open to riders in 4th–12th grades and all skill levels.
